Who handles your information

Property Kickstart is responsible for the information collected through this survey. Contact privacy@propertykickstart.co.uk with privacy questions or requests.

What we collect and why

We collect your survey answers, the survey year, a submission reference and the time your response is received. Name, email, mobile number and professional follow-up are optional. You can submit without contact details.

We use responses for research and service improvement. Where you provide an email address, we may match it to an existing investor profile and assessment using that address, including when that profile is created later. Responses without an email address remain unlinked. Survey responses are not published individually.

Your choices

Survey participation does not subscribe you to marketing. Occasional marketing emails require the separate email opt-in; you can unsubscribe at any time. Selecting the WhatsApp option only reveals a joining link. It does not join you automatically. The link opens in a separate tab or WhatsApp.

Services used to process responses

We use Netlify to host the survey, Cloudflare to handle submissions and Notion to store responses and link investor records. Access is limited to authorised people and service providers supporting these purposes. Where information is processed outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are required under our privacy policy.

Our basis and retention

We rely on our legitimate interests in understanding investor needs, improving services and administering enquiries and investor relationships. Marketing email permission is separate. We retain information only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, then delete it or anonymise it. We may retain suppression information to respect an unsubscribe request. Keeping annual survey editions does not mean keeping identifiable responses indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask us about access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and applicable portability rights. You can withdraw marketing consent without affecting prior processing. Contact the privacy email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
